This GDC/Colombia Publication includes a Colombian case study of a 12 year old girl who was denied an abortion for an unwanted pregnancy, the Colombian Constitutional Court Ruling on this case that mental health was sufficient grounds for abortion, and the recognition that this ruling helps all Colombian adolescents with unwanted pregnancies to legally obtain an abortion. It also provides Colombian adolescent pregnancy statistics and addresses pregnancy risks unique to adolescents.
