Terms of Use

We are pleased to welcome you to Global Doctors for Choice’s (GDC) Community Forum. Thank you for all you do for reproductive health care and for joining this global network.

We have individually vetted membership applications, created this private Community Forum available only to GDC members, and will monitor Forum activity in order to foster a secure platform where we can exchange resources and ideas, and connect and collaborate with like-minded colleagues across the globe.

While participating in this Community Forum, we ask you to follow these Terms of Use.

  • Please communicate with respect, and an awareness that experiences and perspectives on sexual and reproductive health, including sex education, contraceptives, emergency contraceptives, and abortion, are nuanced and can reflect and be influenced by national laws, health institution policies, professional roles and responsibilities, and cultural norms.
  • Please avoid language that contributes to reinforcing reproductive health stigma, faced by women, patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Please respect the confidentiality of members who belong to this group. Feel free to share resources, strategies, and your experience of this community, yet please do not share the names, locations, contact information, employers, etc. of any of the GDC members or of any patients referenced in this Forum. If at any point you feel privacy or security have been violated, please inform us immediately. Your privacy and safety are of most importance and we will take all necessary measures to protect both.
  • We will monitor content and ask you to help by reporting any content you think might be inappropriate. We highly value your work and this sense of community. If we deem any content to have violated the terms of use, we will take necessary action to remediate it and prevent future occurrences.

Please remember that this is your community. You and your fellow members create the discussions, share lessons learned and strategies, support each other, and discover opportunities to collaborate and strengthen our collective voice. We hope this community will be a source of practical tools, valued collaboration, and inspiration.

Advocating for access to safe reproductive health care.
