IPPF/WHR presents a “comparative analysis of health regulations for legal abortion in several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal was to examine current trends in this area. To expand the analysis, this comparison also includes health regulations from countries outside the region that represent major advances or new thinking. In addition, the team has created a model regulation, which includes the essential elements for guaranteeing women’s access to safe, legal and timely abortion services.”
