GDC’s Drs. Wendy Chavkin and Mary Favier’s Abortion Study Published

Drs. Wendy Chavkin and Mary Favier’s “Implementing and expanding safe abortion care: an international comparative case study of six countries” was written collaboratively and published by the International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  This comparative study examined the implementation of laws that expanded abortion services in Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Portugal, South Africa, and Uruguay. Political will was found to be the key factor in implementation.
